Well it's the time of year where i get out and explore. Love to do it
horseback when i can, wheather it's here in the USA or Canada.
Gettysburg National Military Park allows horses on some of it's
trails, and so does Antietam National Military Park.
I really love the area around Harpers Ferry and Bolivar too. Catoctin
Mountain Park is a good place to explore horseback as well.
The C+O Canal down by Paw Paw W.V. is another good place.
The difference between here and Canada is that when you into the
foothills of Alberta or ride the sage down in southern Saskatchewan,
you can go all day and not see another soul. Either way i love it, and
like the song says i feel a kinship with the wind on days when the sun
is shinning and it's a bright blue sky.
My wandering days are over as life and responsibility makes that a
thing of the past.
Gotta admit though, when i was a young man and did'nt have any irons
in the fire after i was done my service , I seen a lot of country, and
rode a lot of horses and met a lot of interesting characters...some
good...some not so good. Hope you enjoy the song !
